Family Series: NASA Space Talk with Chris Gunn

Did you know that NASA is building the biggest, most powerful and complex space telescope ever?

Called the James Webb Space Telescope, or JWST, it is scheduled to be launched into space on Halloween this year. This telescope took over 10 years to build with many different kinds of engineers and scientists working on it.

NASA hired a photographer to work closely with these scientists and engineers to take pictures of the JWST so the world could see the exciting construction process happen over the years. How cool would it be to work for NASA as this photographer?

McMaster is thrilled to have Chris Gunn, the lead NASA photographer, give an online talk to kids of all ages about his cool and challenging job. He will share and describe his beautiful pictures of the James Webb Space Telescope that he has been taking for 10 years and talk about the building of the telescope.

Don’t miss this opportunity to hear from someone at NASA and see the great pictures of NASA’s big mission.
