Join Dr. Christina Baade, professor and chair, Communication Studies and Media Arts, and Dr. Lorraine York, Distinguished University Professor in English & Cultural Studies, for a discussion about the current state of celebrity culture, including the influence of AI, the rise of “fame-hungry” politicians, whether social media can be considered an art form, and more. Humanities Seminars are hosted by Dr. Pamela Swett, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities.

The Humanities Seminars series aims to share the Faculty's exciting and groundbreaking research with our alumni, students and community members.
