For our next installment of our #DuqAlumniInsights series, we'll hear from Natalie (Hutter) Schweizer, E'95, as she shares her passion for Early Childhood Education with us and raises awareness of the importance of the Zero-8 time of life!

Goals of this discussion include:
• Understanding the importance of Early Childhood Education
• Learning about the PA Pre-K Counts Program and programs available outside of PA
• Thinking about what to look for in Pre-K programs
• Sharing Early Childhood activities and resources

Natalie (Hutter) Schweizer E’95, Pre-K Counts Coordinator @Private Industry Council
In her 25+ years since Duquesne graduation, Natalie (Hutter) Schweizer E’95, has cultivated a passion for children… and their learning, their healthy development, their families, their happiness and their success. Natalie has been a classroom teacher of Preschoolers, Kindergarteners, and Second Graders in both Public School Districts and Private School settings. As a “Stay at Home Mom” for many years, Natalie also gained other perspectives and ideas about young kids and what makes them tick! Natalie is currently serving as a Pre-K Counts Coordinator for the Private Industry Council, where she enjoys collaborating with other Early Childhood Educators and Advocates, connecting with families of Pre-K Students, and best of all… spending time with Pre-K Kids themselves!
