In part one of our webinar series, “Working Together, Hosting a Hilltopper Intern,” alumni and friends can learn how businesses of any size can help a current WKU student gain experience in their field of study through an internship. This session, Internship 101, will walk participants through goal setting, program planning, recruiting, management, and evaluating your internship opportunity. Our presenters are Monica Duvall, Gordon Ford College of Business Internship Coordinator, and Liz Fogle, Ogden College of Science & Engineering Internship Coordinator, and they will be joined by Anthony McAdoo, WKU Alumni Association Executive Director, for this engaging discussion about internships. Monica and Liz will also answer questions from participants and share best practices. By creating an internship position and mentoring current WKU students this summer, you can help WKU students stay on track with their education and career development plans. The next session in this webinar series will focus on creating internship experiences in a virtual format so that your business can still participate while social distancing regulations impact your standard business operations.
