Advancement Series: Bridging the Gap - Fostering Collaborations Between Development, Alumni Relations, and Student Affairs

Building relationships with alumni and benefactors is the main focus of advancement professionals across the country. However, did you know that there is an entire division within each college and university doing the same relationship building with students? As former Student Affairs professionals who found their path into development, the presenters will provide a foundational understanding of the Student Affairs profession while sharing the natural reasons why alumni relations, development officers and student affairs professionals should work closer together. This session will conclude with tips and strategies for building stronger cross campus relationships and identify actionable engagement opportunities.
