Traditional personal finance often focuses solely on the "how"—budgeting, saving, and mechanical wealth accumulation. But a bigger bank account doesn't always lead to a meaningful life. In this session, investor and author John Coleman challenges the standard formula for happiness by offering a mindset that puts human flourishing at the core of your finances. Drawing from his six-part framework, John provides a roadmap to help you use your wealth to find greater significance, ensure your actions have a lasting impact, and align your financial decisions with your deepest values.
Key Takeaways:
- Shift from a mindset of accumulation to one of purpose, learning to save for freedom and spend for maximum impact.
- Integrate purpose into your professional life and use your financial means as a tool to help others and foster community flourishing.
- Apply counterintuitive principles to your financial planning to ensure the well-being of your family and create a positive, long-term influence.
