Brig Gen (Ret) Orwyn “O” Sampson

 

 

Over many decades Gen Sampson has supported, mentored and educated USAFA cadets and graduates alike. From his early years at USAFA in the 1960s as a gymnastics coach to coming back to after a tour in Vietnam. Gen Sampson took the lead to help form the biology department to the standards it is at today.  In retirement, Sampson has used his life and his professional experience in a variety of areas to include teaching, research and in the creative area of inventing.
