The world was in a loneliness crisis long before Covid-19.
As human beings, our brains are wired for connection. The feelings of disconnectedness people face today—isolation within our families, digital addiction, emotional trauma— hold worrying consequences for our mental well-being.
The metaverse, AI, and post-pandemic hybrid work all threaten the human connection we are wired to need as human beings. So how do we connect in a polarized world and across generations? Human connection specialist and best-selling author, Simone Heng, will share the techniques that authentically bring us together regardless of age, gender, race, and geography.
About the author: Simone Heng is a bestselling author, human connection specialist, and former international broadcaster for Virgin Radio Dubai, HBO Asia, and CNBC, among others. With over 15 years of experience as a communicator on-air, on stage, and one-on-one in different countries, the connection has always been her life’s work. She has spoken to clients like Google, Salesforce, SAP, Ted X, The United Nations, and many more. Simone and her work have been featured in Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, CNN, and many more.
