GoDaddy and PXG founder, serial entrepreneur, philanthropist and University of Baltimore graduate, Bob Parsons, will speak about his new memoir, Fire in the Hole!: The Untold Story of My Traumatic Life and Explosive Success, to the University's faculty, staff, students and invited guests. His inspiring story starts on the streets of East Baltimore with a rough, impoverished childhood, to his becoming a Marine and a Vietnam war veteran, to his struggles with PTSD and its impact on his private life and work, to his becoming the founder of GoDaddy, PXG and numerous other successful business ventures which led to his billionaire status and being listed on the Forbes 400 richest people in America list, to what he thinks is the importance of giving back to society. It is the story of an everyman who makes it big while facing many challenges along the way.
