The Covid-19 pandemic has highlighted for the public the many roles school play for students, families, and communities. In the process of adapting to the challenges of the pandemic, schools, teachers and teacher education programs have had the chance to reassess key practices. Moving ahead from here will give time for renewal, reform and rebuilding in ways that are more inclusive and effective for all involved in education and schooling in the U.S.
