We invite our Skidmore alumni from 1964 – 1999 (60th – 25th Reunions) celebrating Reunion in June 2024 to join us for an educational session titled, “Achieving Your Philanthropic Goals for Skidmore College.”  In this live and interactive webinar, Art Tracy, Skidmore’s Director of Gift Planning, will discuss the following ways to support the College:

  • Tax-savvy giving options, including long-term appreciated securities and Qualified Charitable Distributions from an IRA
  • Gifts that cost nothing today, including beneficiary designations and gifts from your will or trust
  • Gifts that pay you an income for life

Reunions at Skidmore provide an exceptional opportunity every five years to express appreciation for alumni's singular and unique experiences while students – and to be sure those experiences continue to be available for current and future generations of students. Many alumni reaffirm their pride and loyalty to the College by making larger-than-usual gifts during their Reunion year. During fiscal year 2022-23 (June 1, 2022 – May 31, 2023), Reunion classes contributed $14,882,350 in total, including $1,747,379 through the Skidmore Fund for current use to help today’s students and faculty.
