On November 8, 2022 all 435 House of Representatives voting seats and 34 Senate seats will be contested. While these biennial elections often receive less attention than presidential contests, they have significantly influenced national politics and predicted major turning points in U.S. political history. Will the 2022 midterm elections break any traditional patterns?

In this edition of the Unlimited Learning Expert Series, Francis Graham Lee, PhD, professor emeritus, Randall M. Miller, PhD, professor emeritus, and Katherine Sibley, PhD, professor of history, discussed what prior midterm outcomes can tell us to expect.
