Miami Presents: Cleveland Chapter Female Founders Virtual Panel

Join the Miami Women’s Network and Slant Walk Venture Talk on Thursday, June 17 at 12:00 PM for a virtual candid conversation with two remarkable female entrepreneurs. This event will feature Katie (Tilenni) Burns '08, Co-Founder Give Gifted and Kaleigh Gallagher '09, CEO and Co-Founder of Flutter Social. Hear firsthand what it was like for these women to break out on their own as Katie and Kaleigh share how they launched their companies, pivoted successfully during COVID, and what it takes to run a successful business.

Speaker Bios:

Katie (Tilenni) Burns

Give Gifted, Co-Founder

Katie (Tilenni) Burns graduated in 2008 from the Farmer School of Business with a degree in Finance.  After spending 10 years in corporate finance, she pivoted into entrepreneurship and started Give Gifted, a custom gifting company in Cleveland. 

Additionally, she owns a childcare center with her husband, called Kiddie Academy, and started a non-profit called Forever My Baby You’ll Be, which offers support for families experiencing a stillbirth, neonatal or infant loss.  

Katie has 4 kids and loves to read and workout when she isn’t chasing after them!

Kaleigh Gallagher 

CEO and Co-Founder, Flutter Social 

Kaleigh believes in empowering entrepreneurs to help as many people as possible. 

Flutter Social connects event hosts with their own *virtual* Event Planner to make planning easy and accessible for everyone. 

Kaleigh has been featured on Fox Business, Growing Greater, BizWomen, Crain’s, Tehcnical.ly, among other media outlets for re-imagining the events industry with data science and a national network of real remote Planners. 

Before founding Flutter Social, Kaleigh was in health-tech commercialization at Cardinal Health and Cleveland Clinic Innovations where she brought many medical innovations to market. 

When Kaleigh is not connecting people online, you can find her connecting IRL, painting, traveling, doing yoga, and enjoying live music.
