We are excited to bring all the tradition and excitement of Alumni Weekend – along with some new twists on old favorites – right to you! You don’t have to be on campus to experience all the Love and Honor with our full slate of virtual events.

Have you ever wondered why you think the way you think?  Any idea how it changes when you’re under stress?

Join the Farmer School of Business’ Dr. Gillian Oakenfull, Director of the new Center for KickGlass Change, and Prof. Cynthia Oakenfull (a faculty Miami merger) in an interactive session to better understand your thinking preferences and take steps to become a whole-brain thinker using the HBDI assessment and digital portal. Prior to Alumni Weekend, participants will complete an introduction to HBDI and Whole-brain thinking which includes an HBDI psychometric assessment of your personal thinking preferences though the HBDI Digital Portal. During the Alumni Weekend session, Dr. Oakenfull and Prof. Oakenfull will discuss insights that can be derived from your personalized feedback report and provide you with an understanding of how you can achieve the ultimate goal of whole-brain thinking. The HBDI assessment measures the thinking preferences that underlie creativity, innovation, strategic thinking, analytics, problem solving, collaboration, and communication. Each participant will receive access to a personalized digital HBDI report and complete digital debrief through the HBDI digital portal and on the HBDI mobile app.

Registration for this session to be able to take part in the HBDI Assessment has now closed. Each participant will receive access to the HBDI Digital Portal on Tuesday, May 25. The HBDI Assessment must be completed by Tuesday, June 8, so that results can be compiled for the presentation. If you registered prior to Monday, May 24 and have not received the HBDI Digital Portal information please email alumniweekend@miamioh.edu

If you are still interested in learning about Cognitive Diversity and Whole-Brain Thinking without taking the assessment, you can still register and view the webinar on Thursday, June 10 at Noon.
