Join us for a conversation featuring three recent graduates who are recipients of the Miami University 18 of the Last 9 Award: KeAnna Daniels ’11, empowerment coach and entrepreneur; Catherine Meade ’12, a Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA) at Sparkbox; and Allie Pearson ’15, senior brand manager on the North American Hair Care Team at Procter & Gamble. The conversation will be moderated by Dr. Chelsi Day Ghiorzi ’07, sport psychologist at Ohio State University and member of the M.I.A.M.I. Women Steering Committee.

Dr. Chelsi Day Ghiorzi '07
Chelsi Day Ghiorzi, Psy.D, is a clinical and sport psychologist. She is a sport psychologist at Ohio State where her role is to provide mental health and performance enhancement services to student-athletes and consultation to key stakeholders within the athletic department. Chelsi graduated in 2007 from Miami University with a B.A. in psychology with a minor in business leadership and management and a B.S. in health and sport studies. She also participated on the varsity diving team. Chelsi is half of a Miami Merger with her husband, Jesse, who graduated in 2006. Chelsi and Jesse reside in Columbus, Ohio, in the German Village area with their daughter, Cecilia. Chelsi has stayed involved at the chapter level and served a three-year term on the Miami University Alumni Association Board of Directors. She was the 2016 recipient of the H. Kenneth Gambee Young Alumni Award for her service to the alumni association.
KeAnna Daniels ’11
KeAnna M. Daniels ’11 is an empowerment coach, entrepreneur, change agent, super connector, ecosystem builder and a servant leader in her communities. KeAnna is best known for empowering individuals to live their best lives by taking risks based on faith, and to live on purpose and with intentionality in order to execute with excellence. She incorporates an entrepreneurial mindset into her practices, where failure is embraced and not shunned. She has founded and hosted several conferences, events, initiatives and a consulting firm such as: Rock Your Brand Dayton and St. Louis (branding and entrepreneur conference), Dayton Gem City Entrepreneur Resource Fair, and Sisters Supporting Sisters (women’s workshops), to name a few. KeAnna was recently named Dayton Business Journal’s 2019 40 Under 40, as well as one of Ambition Magazine’s Most Ambitious People of 2019
Catherine Meade ’12
Catherine Meade ’12 builds responsive websites up and down the stack, focusing on enterprise-level JavaScript applications and design systems. Catherine has a strong passion for education and works closely with the Sparkbox Apprenticeship Program. She’s a Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA) and leads the "Accessibility Task Force" at Sparkbox. Catherine's other hobbies include reading, video games, tabletop games, drawing and making cat jokes.
Allie Pearson ’15
Allie (Engelhart) Pearson ’15 is known for having 25 hours in a day. She currently works as a senior brand manager on the North America Hair Care Team at Procter & Gamble, where she develops strategy for the Herbal Essences business. She and her husband, Patrick, enjoy volunteering at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital with their Great Dane, Knox, as well as serving in different capacities within the Crossroads Church community.
