Whether online or in-person, the experience, not the product, is what customers and guests remember. Brands like Airbnb, Disney, and Southwest Airlines design products, so when people use them, the experience is as memorable as the services they provide. Multinational corporations aren’t the only organizations that stake success on integrated digital and physical experiences. Megachurches, boutique clothiers, funeral homes, and hospitals have positioned products that give people experiences they value and want to repeat.
During this session, you’ll learn how an experience design mindset can help your organization pivot from just making products to creating experiences. We’ll explore five experience design principles—each of them actionable for any size organization. Through an array of examples that span screens, physical products, services, and systems, you will learn how innovative organizations use experience design to create impact.
