For more than 15 years, Winter College has provided the opportunity to relive the Miami Experience by returning to the classroom for thought-provoking lectures from Miami’s top faculty and experts. This year, we’re bringing the Miami Experience to you virtually.  Join us at this page for the following special presentation:

Almost 60% of organizations report conflict between younger and older workers. With four generations in the workplace today, that's a recipe for disaster. In this session, we will discuss how Gentelligence is changing that dynamic by giving us a new way to look at generational diversity, and specifically, look at how to build a Gentelligent team at work. By recognizing the common values as well as the unique types of knowledge and perspectives across generations, Gentelligent teams can leverage differences as an opportunity to innovate and excel. Gen Xer Dr. Megan Gerhardt and her two millennial co-authors (and former students!) Josephine Nachemson-Ekwall ’18 and Brandon Fogel ’18 will share new teaming strategies and tools from their upcoming book, “Gentelligence: The Revolutionary Approach to Leading an Intergenerational Workforce.”

You do not need to register for this specific online event, but we encourage you to register for Winter College to get a listing of all lecture web links.  Simply return to this same page to watch the event on Saturday Feb. 27 at 3:00 PM EST.  Please reach out to Michelle Martin Rosecrans with any questions at martin63@miamioh.edu.
