For more than 15 years, Winter College has provided the opportunity to relive the Miami Experience by returning to the classroom for thought-provoking lectures from Miami’s top faculty and experts. This year, we’re bringing the Miami Experience to you virtually.  Join us at this page for the following special presentation:

Bill Brzeski ’75 is a highly regarded production designer/art director with more than 30 years of experience in feature films, television, theater and interior design. Join College of Creative Arts Dean Liz Mullenix for a talk with Bill about how he got into the industry, how Miami helped him get there as well as hear his thoughts on visuals from his film work. Bill joins us live from London where is currently at work on the new “Aquaman” film.

As a production designer, Brzeski’s feature film credits include Universal Pictures' recent release of “Furious 7” and international box-office hit franchise “Iron Man” for Marvel. Brzeski’s repeat collaboration with director Todd Phillips includes the mega hit comedy “The Hangover,” for which he received a Best Production Design nomination from the Art Directors Guild. The pair will reunite for their fourth film, the upcoming “Arms & the Dudes”, for Warner Bros. Pictures. Brzeski’s other feature film credits include James L. Brooks’ Oscar®-winning “As Good as It Gets,” Rob Reiner’s “The Bucket List,” “Stuart Little,” “Stuart Little 2,” “Flipped,” “Blue Streak” and “Matilda.”

You do not need to register for this specific online event, but we encourage you to register for Winter College to get a listing of all lecture web links.  Simply return to this same page to watch the event on Saturday Feb. 27 at 11:00 AM EST.  Please reach out to Michelle Martin Rosecrans with any questions at martin63@miamioh.edu.
