Miami Presents: Women Crush Wednesday with Hallie Abrams

Women Crush Wednesday is a speaker series developed by the Hillel at Miami University running Wednesdays during the second semester of the 2020-2021 school year. Hillel student leaders, Emily Garforth and Madison McQueen, will be interviewing a variety of female-identifying Jewish leaders in a wide range of industries. The conversations are open to students, alumni, and friends and the full schedule can be found at the bottom of this listing.

Join Miami Student, Madison McQueen '23, and Hillel Executive Director, Whitney Fisch, as they engage in conversation with current Miami parent and Clevelander, Hallie Abrams. Abrams, known for taking the stress out of getting dressed, started her size and budget-inclusive styling business 12 years after having her last baby and after leaving a career in marketing to raise her children. She spends most days working one-on-one with clients, ensuring they have a comprehensive understanding of how to look their best and FEEL confident doing it!

In this 1-hour long conversation, Madison and Whitney will talk with Hallie about her journey to owning her own business and what it was like turning a passion into a business. We'll also talk about what it takes to succeed in the fashion industry and what led her to build a size-inclusive wardrobe styling business.  There will also be time at the end for questions directly from the audience.
