Join us for the 11th biennial Myaamiaki Conference on April 18, 2026!
The Myaamiaki Conference is a biennial conference where we present to the general public our ongoing activities that support the revitalization of Myaamia language and culture. Our conference is a great way to learn about a wide range of ongoing research projects and the educational initiatives we continue to develop.

- Kayla Becker, Software Quality Assurance Analyst at Myaamia Center, and Kristina Fox, Myaamia Education Coordinator at Myaamia Center
- National Breath of Life Participant Panel: moderated by Jerome Viles, National Breath of Life Archives Development Trainer
- Cameron Shriver, Ph.D., Research Associate of History at Myaamia Center
- Madison Bastress, Ph.D., Director of the D’Arcy McNickle Center for American Indian and Indigenous Studies at Newberry Library
- Myaamia Heritage Award Program Student Experience Panel: moderated by Stella Beerman, 2022 alumnus of the Heritage Award Program and Communications Specialist at Myaamia Center
