Many people are exhausted right now—but not in the same ways. Some are burned out from navigating fear, conflict, and uncertainty. Others are burned out from being harmed, overlooked, or expected to stay composed in spaces that do not protect them. This webinar offers a trauma-informed framework for understanding these different experiences without collapsing them into a single story. Drawing on neuroscience, psychology, and cultural analysis, the talk explores how chronic stress, threat, and power shape bias, reactivity, and breakdowns in belonging.
The webinar reframes bias as a stress and conditioning-based response rather than a moral failing, while still naming real harm and unequal impact. It examines how microaggressions affect trust, performance, and health, and what repair requires depending on where you sit in a system of power. The focus is on insight, language, and orientation—not role-play—so participants leave with a clearer understanding of how to protect themselves from harm, how to reduce harm to others, and how communities can begin to heal even when values, cultures, and lived experiences differ.
