The Holiday Pack is unfortunately sold out at this time. For those still wanting to participate or those that were unable to access the beers below is a list of similar beers suggested by Bofferding. They do not have to be the exact brand listed. 

  • Pilsner (like a Pilsner Urquell)
  • Brown Ale (such as a Newcastle)
  • Triple Ale (like a New Belgium Triple)
  • Christmas beer (i.e. Great Lakes Christmas)
 
Join fellow Miamians on Thursday, December 3rd at 5:00 p.m. ET (11:00 pm CET), for a virtual beer tasting from the comfort of your own home! Luxembourg's Brasserie Nationale, the Miami University John E. Dolobois European Center, and Ansay International will be hosting a virtual tasting of four Bofferding beers. This event is the perfect way to safely socialize for MUDEC alumni who want to relive their time in Luxembourg as well as for other Miamians who want to learn more about Luxembourg's favorite beer.

The beers that we will be tasting are the Bofferding Pilsner, Bofferding Brune, Bofferding Triple and the Bofferding Christmas beer. Ohio residents may purchase their Bofferding Variety Holiday Pack at www.ansayintl.com/shop. Unfortunately they are unable to ship outside of Ohio at this time. The cost for the tasting pack is $75 which includes 24 beers, as well as all shipping & handling charges. Additionally, if you want to split with friends, one tasting pack can accommodate up to six tastings.

We will be learning a little about the history of the brewery, the styles of beers as well as how they are produced, and how to enjoy each one. The tasting will be led by Brasserie Nationale's Mathias Lentz.

All alumni, family and friends are welcome to participate. You must be 21+. Registration is required.
