The desired outcome for the Western College Legacy Seminars is to provide a forum for Miami University faculty, students, and the community at large to learn and debate topics critical to the health, well-being and development of the global community.

Join us for a special online conversation with adrienne maree brown, a New York Times best-selling author, podcaster, and social movements facilitator.

brown has authored a number of books that explore how to do democracy in our everyday lives, in our organizations, and in our movements. Their titles include Emergent StrategyPleasure Activism, and Loving Corrections, in which brown expertly weaves together knowledge from biology, science fiction, and grassroots organizing as they invite us to imagine and enact a world in which we all want to live.

The discussion will highlight ways of building a more inclusive and resilient community in these uncertain times, beginning with the relationships we co-create with each other.

This event is open to all and free to attend, but registration is required.  Questions?  Please reach out to J.J. Slager at slagerjj@miamioh.edu.
