Election 2020 Market Insight with Jim McDonald- Chief Investment Strategist at Northern Trust.

A lot of people have questions about the upcoming presidential election and its effects on the stock market. The Cleveland & Chicago Alumni Chapters welcome Jim McDonald, Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Strategist for Northern Trust, to present on this topic Thursday, October 29 at 12:30 PM EST.

Jim is responsible for overseeing the strategic and tactical asset allocation policy for Northern Trust’s institutional and wealth management clients globally. He chairs the Northern Trust Tactical Asset Allocation Committee and is a co-portfolio manager of the Northern Global Tactical Asset Allocation Fund. In addition, he is a member of the Investment Policy Committee and trustee of the 50 South Capital Alpha Strategies hedge fund.

Although not a Miami graduate himself, all three of Jim’s children, Max, Duke and Catherine, are graduates of Miami University. Jim received a BBA from the University of Michigan and an MBA degree with high distinction from Babson College.
