Virtual Miami at the Merc: Advancing Women in Finance

Join us for our first online version of Miami at the Merc as distinguished alumni discuss gender equality in the workplace. Our panel will discuss the financial industry specifically and address strategies to recruit, retain and promote women in business.

The event will be moderated by Dr. Barnali Gupta, associate dean for curriculum and professor of economics in the Farmer School of Business at Miami. Dr. Gupta will be joined on the panel by:

Kay Geiger '78, regional president of PNC Bank
Joy Harper '02, a finance principal at Google and
Jeneen Marziani '93, Ohio market president for Bank of America.

In addition to discussing why the financial industry has not kept pace with many other professional fields when it comes to gender equality, the group will take your questions about helping women advance in the workplace.
