About the author: David Shrier is a futurist and innovation catalyst with expertise in harnessing artificial intelligence and other technology to grow revenue. He is a Professor of Practice in AI & Innovation at Imperial College London, where he leads the Centre for Digital Transformation and co-directs the Trusted AI Alliance. He also runs venture studio Visionary Future LLC, helping Global 2000 companies create breakout growth and incubating new technology-enabled businesses. David has led public and private companies in AI, fintech, and digital technology, including, as CEO, delivering an oversubscribed IPO on the New York Stock Exchange. His efforts have driven more than $11 billion of institutional innovation across multiple global enterprises. He has helped over 100 national governments on technology policy and served on the advisory committee for the EU AI Act. David has published nine books in the past nine years about the impact of technology on business and society, most recently Welcome to AI: A Human Guide to Artificial Intelligence.
