MIAMI Women Presents: Hawk Tank

Each spring MIAMI Women invites the entire Miami community to join in personal and professional development. The symposium on 4/28 features keynote addresses and panel discussions from inspirational thought leaders, interactive workshops, and networking elements for Miamians at all levels in their careers. Our speakers include amazing Miami women who will inspire you based on the 2023 theme: We Will Lead.  (Registration deadline 4/19.)  The gathering also includes a special event Thursday night and those who can't make it in-person (Fritz Pavilion at Armstrong Student Center) are encouraged to watch Hawk Tank online. 

Hawk Tank is a “fast pitch” event during which Miami students, faculty and staff who have applied for a grant appear in front of Giving Circle members to present their  ideas.  All are invited to watch and then Giving Circle members vote on which projects should receive funding. Think “Shark Tank,” where Giving Circle members are the sharks. More than half a million dollars have been awarded at Hawk Tank!
