Professional women often feel continually frazzled, as if there’s never enough time to accomplish everything they need to do. This presentation--led by entrepreneur, Miami grad, and still-sane triplet mama Rose Lounsbury '08 --helps busy professional women create more joy and ease in their lives. By examining their mindsets toward time and learning some practical strategies to simplify their schedules, participants will be able to create more meaningful and intentional spaces in their lives for the things that truly matter.

Participants will learn how to balance personal and professional schedules, create routines to help days run more smoothly, and use time-blocking strategies to accomplish daily tasks and projects.

Rose Lounsbury '08 is a simplicity coach who helps busy professional women declutter their homes, simplify their work lives, and clear their minds. After struggling to balance a teaching career and 2-year-old triplets, Rose was introduced to minimalism in 2012. Inspired by the “less is more” philosophy, she let go of 70% of her family’s possessions in eight months. She eventually left the classroom to pursue a career helping other busy women create happier lives with less stuff. Rose’s advice has been featured on TEDx and USA Today, and she’s been a guest on Good Day Columbus, WYSO, WVXU, and Good Morning Cincinnati.

The presentation is free to watch online, but registration is required. Please reach out to Emily LeFevers, bostiae@MiamiOH.edu, with questions.
