Miami Presents: LGBTQ+ Terminology and Allyship 101

What does “pansexual” mean? What about “nonbinary?” How can I better support members of the LGBTQ+ community? Learn the answers to these questions and more in our upcoming training on LGBTQ+ Terminology and Allyship, facilitated by Dr. April Callis, our Associate Director for LGBTQ+ Initiatives. During this session we’ll discuss the ways that language has shifted around gender and sexuality in the last few decades. We’ll also delve into ways to support the LGBTQ+ community members in your lives, including friends, relatives, and coworkers.
