Two decades after its inception, the Urban Cohort's collaborative, community-based approach to teacher education continues to prepare teachers who are part of the fabric of the community. This series of 20th Anniversary online events celebrate our many programs and collaborations between the community, faculty, and students.

The Urban Cohort is designed to prepare Miami students to be community-oriented practitioners in their future careers.  The program is grounded in the life of the community and we engage in this work through deep collaboration with our community partners. In this session, we will share the ways in which we align our work with the strengths and challenges faced by our youth and community partners.
