Join Miami Cleveland Chapter VP for Alumnae Christine Millen '05 as she presents Executive Director of the Miami University Alumni Association Kim Tavares MBA '12 for a webinar on Monday, April 11 at noon. Christine and Kim will discuss what to expect from the 2022 MIAMI Women Symposium, Kim's journey to leading MUAA, and how women can make a difference in the lives of current and future Miamians.
Kim Tavares joined Miami in 2008 and has served as Associate Vice President for University Advancement and Executive Director of the Alumni Association since 2017. During her tenure, she has led the alumni team through a period of growth and reorganization, identifying the needs of alumni today and building on the strengths of Miami University. Prior to joining Miami, Kim worked for a decade with PBS in Washington, D.C. She obtained her MBA from Miami University in 2012 (and had a baby during that time, too!) and earned a BA in International Affairs from George Washington University. A native of Hamilton, Ohio, Kim now lives down the street from several family members with her husband Justin, children Quinn and Amelia, and dog Jake.
This event is presented by M.I.A.M.I. WOMEN and Miami Cleveland Chapter Women's Networking.
There is no cost to attend, but registration is required.
