Miami Presents: 40 years of the Bridges Program

Join us for a special conversation as we celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the founding of the Bridges Program at Miami.  The presenters, including the program founders, a recent alum and a student will talk about the impact the program has made.

The Bridges Program was founded by Black alumni Wayne Dancie ’81 and Doug Banks ‘81 during their time as undergraduates at Miami University. The program came about in an effort to bring underrepresented students from around the state of Ohio to campus for a two-day visit. Today the program is led by alumnae Jonika Moore ‘98 and Dr. Monika Adkins ‘89.
