Kimberly Harris, MD

Dr. Kimberly Harris is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
A native of Rocky River, Ohio, Dr. Kimberly Harris earned her medical degree from The Ohio State University (OSU) College of Medicine in Columbus. She then completed her combined internal medicine and pediatrics residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and her clinical fellowship training in gastroenterology from Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Before joining North Shore Gastroenterology in 2016, Dr. Harris honed her skills as a volunteer in OSU’s Physicians Free Clinic, Columbus Neighborhood Health Center’s Healthcare for the Homeless, and the Birmingham Free Clinic, the University of Pittsburgh’s health care program for underserved populations.

Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (in internal medicine and gastroenterology) and the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Harris has contributed to various publications and presentations focused on gastroenterology, hepatology, and pediatrics. Her areas of special interest include irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), colorectal cancer screening and detection, and the management of hepatitis C and chronic liver disease.

Dr. Harris also maintains memberships in the American College of Physicians, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American College of Gastroenterology, and American Academy of Pediatrics.
