Join us for a discussion with DeGroote Alumnus, Shawn Cheung, BCom’05, Founder and CEO of Raising The Village, about his journey building an organization dedicated to helping communities in Uganda get out of the cycle of poverty, how he has learned to create solutions to such complex problems, and what he thinks we can all do to support social justice issues in a post-pandemic world.

Shawn Cheung has combined his business education and work experience with a passion for creating measurable and meaningful change in the world. He was a recipient of the McMaster Arch Award in 2012 and was just recently announced as one of the 2020 honourees for Canada’s Top 40 under 40.
