If you are an unpaid, or paid, individual in a caregiving role, the McMaster Continuing Education Caregiving Essentials course and webinar series will provide you with relevant and meaningful information to help you as a caregiver.
When care needs change in a family, getting everyone on to the same page can be challenging. And when caregiving collides with family disagreements, stress and tensions rise. Our guest, author and advocate Marc Séguin, will describe how family meetings can deepen relationships through sharing values, beliefs and wishes.
Join host, Donna Thomson in conversation with Marc Séguin, as they discuss caregiving team building in the family.
About the Speaker: Marc Séguin is the author of Advocacy In Aging (www.AdvocacyInAging.com), a book about building your team of caregivers and advocates for life transitions.
Marc has helped many families including his own, plan for and deal with the inevitable changes in life, triggered by natural aging, life events, or illness. These experiences have led him to develop the PACT (Plan-Activate-Communicate-Transition) planning framework, allowing all to live with peace of mind, knowing wishes, beliefs and values are well communicated and trusted caregivers are prepared to transition and support personal affairs and care.
