McMaster University is pleased to invite you to an exciting panel discussion about the dynamic nature of natural disasters – the toll they take, the purpose they serve, and the impact they have on our societies.

Moderated by McMaster alumnus and award-winning host of CBC’s The Nature of Things, Anthony Morgan, four of our McMaster researchers will take a deep dive into the often-overlooked impacts of natural disasters like wildfires and floods. They will discuss global efforts to enhance preparedness and accelerate recovery, while highlighting McMaster’s innovative initiatives to mitigate the consequences these disasters have on people, cities, and the environment.

You will have the opportunity to engage directly with McMaster’s experts to ask your questions and share your perspectives. You may pre-submit your questions here.

Join us for this critical conversation to learn more about the climate events re-shaping our world.
