In a world filled with thousands distractions, it has become more and more difficult to sustain our attention and focus. This talk explores the neuroscience of mindfulness, focusing specifically on how mindfulness can help to reduce mind-wandering, and improve a person’s attention and focus.

During this talk, participants will learn evidence-based techniques for mindful learning in a busy digital world. It is relevant for students, alumni and lifelong learners who want to improve their focus and ability to learn and retain new information. This talk aims to help learners apply mindfulness to improve focus, stop mind-wandering, and enhance learning and while also learning about the concepts of mindfulness and mindlessness, the two brain networks responsible for attention and focus, and understanding the autopilot mode of living vs the mindful mode of living.

Join Shrey Vazir as he shares 5 different ways that you can improve your focus, memory, and attention, 7 steps to practice meditation and 5 mini mindfulness exercises to stop the wandering mind.
