Structural racism has been in existence since before the country’s founding. Although the country has made some progress towards an equal society, political developments in the 21st century have shown that deep divides remain.

To bridge our divides, renowned political scientist Terri Givens calls for ‘radical empathy’ - moving beyond understanding others’ lives and pain to understand the origins of our biases. In this deep dive webinar, Terri will demonstrate the importance of vulnerability and provide attendees with practical steps to practice empathy and bring about significant social change.

About the author: Terri Givens is the CEO and Founder of Brighter Higher Ed. She is also a political scientist with more than 30 years of success in higher education, politics, international affairs, and non-profits.
