Join us for an insightful Best of Blue discussion on Navigating Mental Health in Your Professional Journey. As young alumni navigating the stages of your career, we understand the unique challenges you may face. This session, hosted by YAC’s Aulona GrahamSimms, aims to foster an open dialogue on maintaining mental well-being, managing stress, and creating a healthy work-life balance.

Best of Blue is a virtual interview series shedding light on relatable topics for the young alumni experience. Through this platform, YAC holds progressive conversations while highlighting Georgia State alumni making a mark professionally and socially.

For this edition, our dynamic guest speakers feature two mental health professionals: Mallory Cary and Matthew McCurdy. Mallory is a licensed clinical social worker and Behavioral Health Clinician at Northside Hospital, and Matthew is cofounder and Executive Director of a community-based mental health organization called BLKHLTH.

Together, let’s discuss our collective mental health needs and explore practical strategies to thrive in your professional endeavors while prioritizing your mental health.
