Tips for productive conflict resolution About the Presenter: Barrhonda offers over twenty-two years of corporate business experience with a fortune 100 financial institution and over twelve years of internal and external leadership coaching experience totaling over 1000 hours. Barrhonda’s eclectic coaching approach blends her diverse background in operational leadership, process engineering, psychological theories such as cognitive behavioral theory, positive psychology, and self-discrepancy theory. Clients have described Barrhonda as offering a safe space for vulnerability, direct feedback, new insights and behavioral change that fosters impactful growth. With this in mind, she helps clients to broaden perspectives, upgrade strengths, and prepare for proud moments. Focus areas in her work with senior executives, emerging leaders and teams include executive presence, communication, emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, change management and process improvement. As a practitioner, Barrhonda subscribes to the power of continuous development. She continues to expand her coaching competency through her work as the Director of Leadership Coaching and Teamwork for Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Business - Executive Graduate Programs. She also serves as adjunct faculty for Georgetown University’s Executive Coaching Program. Lastly, she is actively pursing a PhD in Industrial / Organizational Psychology with a specialization in leadership development and coaching.
