This tutorial will teach you tricks, tips and techniques on how to impress your family and friends and even yourself!  Spend an evening with us in our upcoming Alumni Social Hour as we walk through different meats, spices, smokers and more during this easy tutorial. We promise you will have a smokin' good time!

Meet your guide:

Casey Paine is 2008 graduate of Ferris State University from the Construction Technology and Management program.  He has held many positions in the field including Surveyor, Engineer and currently serves as a Senior Environmental Specialist with VRX Inc., a Plano, Texas company where he has been employed the last 9 years. Casey and his family reside in Fort Worth, Texas where he also spends much of his time creating the perfect smoked meats.  Having competed in numerous BBQ competitions over the past 5 years, he has also made a name for himself with his Smokin7 BBQ Company and special brand of spices.  As an avid Ferris State University sports fan and graduate, Casey is a Ferris State Ambassador and has planned various alumni events in the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area including an Allen Americans Hockey game and a Bulldogs and Brews event at Panther Island Brewing.
