Artists throughout the ages have represented the feeling of love in a variety of ways. From lovers embracing to cupids dancing, this illustrated lecture will explore works of art that depict and express love. As we approach Valentine’s Day, join Art Historian Rachel Foulk for a discussion of love in art.
Meet Your Presenter, Rachel Foulk
Dr. Rachel Foulk is Professor of Art History at Ferris State University. She holds a Ph.D. in Art History from Emory University, with a specialization in ancient Greek and Roman art. Professor Foulk teaches a wide range of Art History courses at Ferris State and advises the Art History minor. She aims to enhance the educational experiences of Ferris students by helping them to appreciate art as an important form of human expression that communicates our values and ideals.
