Dr. Simon Sum, Clinical Nutrition Doctor and Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, currently directs Scientific Affairs at Herbalife for North America & Mexico. His focus is ensuring product safety and scientific integrity while leading personalized nutrition initiatives. Formerly the clinical nutrition manager at Alhambra Hospital Medical Center, Simon provided nutrition care and managed a team of professionals. Simon holds a Doctorate in Clinical Nutrition from Rutgers University, complemented by master’s degrees in medical research and Nutritional Sciences from The University of Hong Kong and California State University, Long Beach. As Director-at-Large for the California Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation, he actively contributes to the field, building on past roles in committees and chairing the Chinese Americans in Dietetics and Nutrition. Simon is also a Certified Personal Trainer with Exercise is Medicine credential and a Fellow of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
