Join us this month as we look at the role of food on our campus and in our community. Food and fellowship go hand in hand. As a community founded by Benedictines, we understand the significance of gathering to break bread. Most alumnae have favorite memories of meals shared, from the basement of the Main Building to the openness of the Gorecki Center. For others though, food insecurity on campus has been a very real threat.

We'll take a look at what it’s like to meet the changing tastes of a whole campus – and what makes things different when that campus is a college for women. We’ll explore nutrition, variety and sustainable practices. And we’ll also look back and share memories of some of everyone’s favorites.

Moderator Kathy Hansen (CSB VP of Institutional Advancement) will sit down with:

Emily Heying, associate professor CSB/SJU Nutrition Department

Kim Poganski, CSB director of culinary services

Phil Paulson, CSB culinary chef manager
