We all know that stress relief is necessary for health and well-being. As adults, it's easy to get bombarded with the day-to-day and forget to play. In this talk, the importance of play in adulthood will be discussed as well as ways to maximize the benefits by connecting to your childhood ways of making time fly while you were having fun.

Brooke Spangler Cropenbaker is a developmental psychologist and teaching professor who is passionate about lifelong play. She teaches classes covering topics of human development across the lifespan, child development, and specialty seminars on play and evolutionary developmental psychology at Miami University where she started in 2009. When not in the classroom, you can find her playing with her family and spending time dreaming of faraway mountain excursions.

The presentation is free to watch online, but registration is required.  Please reach out to J.J. Slager, slagerjj@miamioh.edu, with questions.
