Interested in a new way to explore Miami’s history? Alia Levar Wegner, Digital Collections Librarian, will guide you through some of the recent projects that have expanded the global reach of the Walter Havighurst Special Collections & University Archives. From 3D models and virtual reality to postcards, we’ll explore what’s possible today in special collections, where rare materials undergo a mesmerizing digital transformation. Come discover what lies beyond physical archives and learn how Miami University students and faculty are making a digital difference.

Alia Levar Wegner is the Digital Collections Librarian at the Walter Havighurst Special Collections and University Archives at Miami University. She is responsible for coordinating the digitization of special collections materials, developing digital collections, and consulting on digital humanities projects.
